Taking Care of Business
Perhaps you thought I took a week off from “Friday Notes” because of Thanksgiving. But while I did certainly enjoy the turkey—and the family and other company that this favorite-of-all-holidays brings—I did not forget that the whole point of “Friday Notes” is pretty much a big “thanks-giving.” So I’m posting late, but on an important topic that I’ve been thinking about quite a lot lately: our Business Administration program and its future.

Virtuoso Performances
I’m just in the door from the Stonehill Theatre Company Production of Frankenstein Virtuoso. Virtuoso indeed! As always, Patricia Sankus and her team put together a show that transformed the Hemingway Theater, amplified the talents of the student performers, and challenged the audience with a comedy in which the humor actually honored intelligence.

The Art of Science
So much happened on campus this past week that I will have to pass over several possible topics to focus on one whose importance is impossible to overstate: we broke ground on Thursday for a new $34 million science center that will transform our campus in manifold ways!
